Kirkstall is a suburb of Leeds located to the North West of the City Centre. The A65 Kirkstall Road is the main artery into and out of Leeds, bisecting Kirkstall as it heads out from the city centre towards Ilkley, Skipton and beyond. Also served by Headingley Train station, bus connections are available from Kirkstall to all parts of Leeds.
Entertainment is available in the form of the excellent Cardigan Fields retail park where you can find a selection of top restaurants, a 9 screen Vue Cinema, Hollywood bowling and a lot more.
Leeds Becket University is located just to the North of Kirkstall, making it an excellent choice for students to choose as their home.
To the West of Kirkstall is Kirkstall Abbey, a famous landmark and tourist attraction in Leeds. Consisting of a ruined Cistercian monastery, the Abbey makes a fascinating outing for those interested in medieval history, with a museum and gift shop on site too.
The Southern border of Kirkstall runs along the river Aire which provides an excellent opportunity for a riverside walks.
